BREAKING NEWS – Sources Say Hillary Willing to be Obama Vice President

3:00pm EST…

Sources close to the Hillary Clinton campaign have told several news sources that Sen. Hillary Clinton is willing to take the vice presidential slot on a Barack Obama presidential ticket.

Capitol Street has verified this with an inside campaign volunteer.

The sources are said to be New York lawmakers. Her campaign stated earlier that Clinton is “absolutely not” prepared to admit Obama has beaten her, but it appears things have changed.

The senator’s remarks came in response to a question from Democratic Rep. Nydia Velazquez who said she believed the best way for Obama to win key voting blocs like Hispanics, would be for him to choose Clinton as his running mate.

“I am open to it,” Clinton replied. It is also rumored Clinton will concede the race tonight in New York City.

The race for the Democratic presidential nomination may be over as early as 9:00pm EST tonight.

We’ll post the most recent information as it becomes available.

I say No…No…No! Six months ago, I thought that would be a dream ticket. Now… Oh, the horror. I believe she would work covertly to undermine President Obama and establish herself as some sort of co-president. I hope Senator Obama does not allow himself to be pressured into putting her on the ticket.

I think this hope may be realized:

Nooo….Get a hold of yourself. Look, if Hillary is in, McCain loses. With her, you get women, you get moderates, you get white voters, you get blue collar, you get Bill Clinton working behind the scenes. It is a bitter pill, but a positive result long term. Believe me. I’m an Obama guy saying this.
Dream ticket equals a win. Plus, no one is sure she won’t go Independent 😦

    Matt.., Matt.., you’re glib :)))) Remember Kennedy/Johnson?

Bill is gonna be in. There’s no doubt about that. Obama wants him. Either in some cabinet position or an ambassadorship.

I really believe Hillary revealed an aspect of her character over the last six months that is worrisome. Even her supporters are worried about these revelations. Did you hear Carol Simpson on Larry King last night?

I understand Hillary is just plain exhausted. She’s the only woman in our nation’s history who has ever campaigned this hard and for this long. Even Shirley Chisholm didn’t have to last this long. Maybe that’s why no one is really paying much attention to the downside of this badger-like tenacity. Would anyone in the world community be able to negotiate with her on any level, or will it always have to be her way or the highway because she can hold her breath the longest? Obama’s breezy, breathy, quiet control looks like a cool drink of water next to Hillary’s stinging desert sand. Too bad.

Fierce competition sometimes strengthens character, hell it may even build it. More often than not, though, it simply just reveals it.
