Here are some tips on becoming a morning person. I do this stuff and it seems to work.
First, get up at the same time everyday – even weekends. No sleeping in on weekends. All that does is throw off your biological clock for the next week.
Second, when you wake up, spend a few minutes (maybe five) outside. Fresh air and sunshine will help you get motivated and sharpen the senses. It also helps to get stale air out of your lungs and more oxygen into the bloodstream.
Third, eat a light breakfast. No donuts or bagels everyday. Actually buy some fruit. Don’t like raw fruit? The jarred stuff is okay. I like DelMonte Citrus Salad in the glass jar (I hate plastic jars). A little juice, some cold cereal, or even a microwaved egg is okay. No breakfast, saps your energy for the rest of the day, and leaves you tired.
